Baby Bundle Carriage

Lots of babies being born this time of year.....so off course I'm not ready and needed to make a fast card.  I really like the carriage that is is this set....reminds me of an old fashion kinda look.  It went together really fast and using the pink pirouette, with crumb cake dp gives it a very soft girlie look.  Embossing folders add just that little bit of texture with the Blossom Party die flower adding that element of dimension.
Inked the edges with Pink Pirouette.  Added a butterfly, cut with the Beautiful Wings embosslit die, for some fun!

Watercolor look 5th Avenue

This is just a fabulous technique.  Not sure whose idea it was but I've seen it on several blogs.

I stamped the flower from the 5th Avenue floral set with versa mark on shimmery white cardstock, embossed with white embossing powder and heat set.  With water in a spray bottle, I sprayed the back and front of the stamped cardstock.  Using 2 colors of ink (from reinkers) and an aqua painter, drop ink unto the images any way you please. Let dry.

Recipe for the top card
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Something To Celebrate (hostess set)
Ink:  Elegant Eggplant, Versa Mark, Baja Breeze
Cardstock: Naturals White, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Big Shot, Embossing folders Square Lattice & Framed Tulips (new Mini), Lots of tags sizzlits,  Corner rounder.

Other colors I've used with the Baja Breeze are Cherry Cobbler & Bravo Burgundy.

Elegant Eggplant Butterfly Pansy

This is one of the January class cards we did using the butterfly punch to make a pansy.  I've seen this technique on several different blogs and it's very fun to do.

Punch 2 butterflies using the Shimmery White cardstock.  Spray with water until wet but not puddling and using the aqua painter brush filled with water, 2 colors of ink refills, put ink on tip of brush and dot the center (I used daffodil yellow and elegant eggplant)  then use the darker and do the edges.  Let dry for about 1/2 hr.  The color does get darker as it dries.  Curl the edges before putting together.  You can use a marker to draw the lines in the center and put together with a brad.

Recipe
Stamp set: Sincere Salutations, Sanded BG
Cardstock - elegant eggplant, daffodil yellow, whisper white, old olive
Ink - elegant eggplant, daffodil yellow
Accessories: Big Shot, Perfect Polka dot & square lattice embossing folders, Perfect details texture plate, 5 petal flower punch, butterfly punch, Itty Bitty shapes punch, corner rounder, decorative label punch, dotted scallop ribbon border punch.

Petal Cone die Love banner

This Petal Cone die has so many uses.  Here I made a banner with the real red and black cs with hearts between each punched from the new glimmer paper (found in the new mini).  Layered the glimmer hearts on black die cuts from the scalloped heart of hearts embosslits die.
Die cut my letters and put magnets on the 2 end hearts to hang from my cabinet.

Have fun creating

Valentine Full Heart

I really like the Cherry Cobbler and Pink Pirouette colors together.  Stamped the En Francais BG stamp on  w white and inked the edges with pink pirouette.  Mounted this onto e espresso card.  Using the Big Shot, cut out  the top note die from w white cs and cut in half then stamped the En Francais and inked the edges with e. espresso.  Cut a Square from pink pirouette and a smaller one from e espresso, punched 4 hearts from the  full heart punch and mounted onto early espresso square.  Punched out a cherry cobbler dotted scalloped ribbon border and stitched an x in the ends with linen thread.

Hope you enjoy
