Owl punch Rose

Another way to make a rose .  When I found this idea on HERE (thanks for doing this video) I knew I had to try it.  All you need is the Owl punch to punch the petals out.
The BG is the Very Vintage jumbo wheel on Naturals White cs, then inked with So Saffron using a sponge.  Using the Big Shot (you need it) I cut out the Lattice die and cut it open to expand on both sides of the scallop circle.  The leaf I used is punched from the new Blossoms Petals Punch and using a stylus made veins.  Added some Baja glass glitter in the center of the rose.

Recipe
Stamp: Very Vintage wheel
Cardstock: So Saffron, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Certainly Celery, Naturals White
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy, So Saffron, Certainly Celery
Accessories:  BIG SHOT, dies used... Lattice, Scallop Circle #2, Butterflies, Blossoms Petals Punch, Owl Punch, Elegant Lines embossing folder, pearls

Fun Flowers Stenciling

I remember stenciling on my walls and buying the smaller stencils to stencil on cards using craft paint.  That was many years ago before I knew anything about rubber stamps.

This is one of the cards we are doing in our stampin clubs this month.  I sure enjoy making these flowers.  I start by punching 3 pieces of cs and lightly spraying with water, then just crumpling up in a ball.  This DSP has so many colors and very large print, sure makes for great cards without much stampin.

Best Wishes First Edition

This card is basically the same layout as the one posted Here but on this card I used the First Edition DSP in the Occasions mini.  Did some more of the distressing technique......added the Vanilla Smooch spritz on the Fun flower die flower.  Stamped the En Francais on the Vanilla cardstock and used the early espresso marker in the Color  Spritzer Tool for more distressing.

Fun Flowers Best Wishes

Spring is in the "Air"....at least the temps are in the minus single digits during the day.
I can hardly wait to get out working in my yard and play in my flower beds.  But for now I'll have to play with paper flowers...lol!
Not much stampin on this card but I love the vintage look and all the playing you can do on this style of card.
Stamped the En Francais with the C.Cake ink on the V.Vanilla textured cs.  Used the color spritzer to add some splatters on the flower, sentiment and V.Vanilla card.  On the flower I sprayed the Vanilla Shimmer spritz after inking the edges.  The Swirly Sizzlit strip addssome dimension to cards that I really like, without making it look busy.

Recipe:
Stamp sets:  BG En Francais, Sincere Salutations
Cardstock: V.Vanilla, E.Espresso, DSP Springtime Vintage (Occasions Mini)
Ink:  E.Espresso, C.Cake
Accessories:  Big Shot, Fun Flowers die, Swirly Sizzlit strip, brad, Vanilla Spritz, Color Spritzer, E.Espresso marker, a piece of Vanilla satin ribbon, Punches used...Boho Blossom, Designer Label, Eyelet border.

Fifth Avenue Florals

Longing for Summer and the arrival of flowers...
I know the roses won't be this color but they are sure fun to do with the reinkers.  I did a couple the same color but they seem to take on different shade by putting them on different color backgrounds.

The 1st card is mounted on Naturals White card that's embossed with the Framed Tulips EF and brayered and sponged with Elegant Eggplant.  Stamped En Francais on W. White cs and embossed in clear ep.  Sponged with E.Eggplant and N.of Navy and mounted that on a piece of N.of Navy cs embossed with the Sq Lattice EF.

The 2nd card I embossed the N.White cs with the Manhattan Flower EF and used the color Spritzer tool with N.of Navy marker to add some splatters.
Punched leaves for both cards using the new Build a Blossom punch from the new Occasions Mini found HERE.   One lot of leaves I embossed with the Sq. Lattice EF, the other I drew viens with my stylus.
